Day 1: UK - Hurghada

Arrive into Hurghada and get checked-in to the luxe Jasmine Palace Resort. (Meals: all-inclusive)

Days 2 to 3 or 7: Hurghada

Chill out by the beach and opt to go diving, snorkelling or sailing. Alternatively, just kick back, relax and top up the tan. (Meals: all-inclusive)

Day 4 or 8: Aboard cruise

Set off on the luxury MS Jamila, the MS Royal Viking or the MS Kahila. (Meals: full board)

Day 5 or 9: Aboard cruise

Visit the ancient Karnak Temple and Luxor on the East Bank. (Meals: full board)

Day 6 or 10: Aboard cruise

See the Ptolemaic temples of Kom Ombo and Sobek Temple before moving on to the ancient city of Aswan. (Meals: full board)

Day 7 or 11: Aboard cruise

Today the ship calls at the Philea Island, where the temple to the Goddess Isis dominates the landscape. Next on the agenda is a visit to another majestic construction, the mighty High Dam. You’ll also have the choice between a day in Aswan or an excursion to a Nubian village. (Meals: full board)

Day 8 or 12: Aboard cruise

Carved out of the rocks in Southern Egypt, the impressive Abu Simbel Temples were built to not only honour the gods, but also to elevate King Rameses to a similar status. Opt to visit this site, or just relax on the boat. In the afternoon the tour continues to the old city of Edfu. (Meals: full board)

Day 9 or 13: Aboard cruise

Esna is home to the stunning Temple of Khnum. Your boat will dock in the city, allowing you to explore the ancient site that was built to honour the god of creation and the Nile, Khnum. After this, the afternoon will be spent going on a city tour of Luxor. (Meals: full board)

Day 10 or 14: Aboard cruise

The last stop on the tour, and by no means the least. Today, you’ll be taking in the spectacular sights that abound in the Valley of the Kings. The burial site for numerous Egyptian pharaohs, this area is packed with both history and myths. The tour will include visits to the Hatshepsut Temple and the majestic Colossi of Memnon. (Meals: full board)

Day 11 or 15: Aboard cruise

The cruise returns to where you set out and your trip will end on arrival. (Meals: full board)

Good to know

Please note that you may travel on the MS Royal Viking or MS Royal Kamila instead. Both ships are of a similar quality to the MS Jamila and have similar facilities.

All excursions over the cruise, are optional and can be added to the booking at an extra cost.

Please note that a 10-night holiday will comprise of three nights at Jasmine Palace Resort, then seven nights aboard a Nile cruise. A 14-night holiday will consist of seven nights at each.
